Poor Management of staff accounts for as much as 75% of the total cost in many companies world wide. This implies that good and effective staff management can, and do account for as much as 75% of the gross profit of many companies (Rodney; How to start your own business).
INTRODUCTION
Purpose
This software determines to boost staff and management efficiency thereby increasing productivity and gross profit.
Problem
Over the past and recent years, staff management cost as a percentage of sales or services has continued to rise.
Employees are given the necessary training to be successful on the job yet very little returns are realised.
Poor staff management has led to the failure of many companies since it accounts for about 75% of total cost (Rodney et al.).

- 65% of employees do not report at their respective work places on time.
- 30% of employees close work an hour or two before the stipulated closing time.
- 10% are not regular in terms of attendance without the knowledge of their managers or authorities.
- 5% receive at least 2 visitors during working hours. The movement of some of these visitors is not monitored and this has led to so many theft cases in companies.
- 10% of employees are not motivated, owing to the fact that there is no effective monitoring tool. In view of this, the lazy ones are favoured at the expense of the serious ones who are actually on the job.
